Welcome to Holiday Ideas! These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our travel and tour services. By booking any tour or service with us, you agree to comply with these terms. Please read them carefully before making any reservations.


1. DEFINITIONS

Company: Refers to Holiday Ideas, its employees, and representatives.

Client/Customer/Traveler: Refers to the individual or group booking services with Holiday Ideas.

Service: Includes all tour packages, transportation, accommodations, and activities provided by Holiday Ideas.


2. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

2.1 Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only after receiving an advance payment of at least 50% of the total tour cost.

The remaining balance must be paid before the tour starts unless otherwise agreed.

2.2 Payment Methods

Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, credit/debit card, or cash.

Any bank or transaction charges are to be borne by the customer.

2.3 Price Policy

Prices are subject to change without prior notice due to currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, government taxes, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Once full payment is received, no additional charges will apply unless there are changes in government policies or force majeure events.


3. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

3.1 Cancellation by the Customer

Cancellations must be made in writing via email or WhatsApp.

The following cancellation charges apply:

More than 30 days before departure: Full refund (minus transaction fees).

15–30 days before departure: 50% refund of the total tour cost.

7–14 days before departure: 25% refund of the total tour cost.

Less than 7 days before departure: No refund.

3.2 Cancellation by the Company

If Holiday Ideas cancels a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (natural disasters, political instability, etc.), customers will receive:

A full refund or

The option to reschedule the tour.

The company is not liable for any additional costs incurred by the customer due to cancellation.


4. TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they have valid ID proof, passports, visas, and permits where required.

Foreign tourists visiting J&K must comply with Indian immigration laws and local security guidelines.


5. TOUR ITINERARY & CHANGES

Holiday Ideas reserves the right to alter, modify, or cancel itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions, security issues, or road closures.

No refunds will be given for unused services or voluntary changes made by the customer after the tour starts.


6. TRAVEL INSURANCE

Holiday Ideas strongly recommends travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and loss of belongings.

The company is not responsible for any medical expenses, accidents, or theft during the tour.


7. RESPONSIBILITY & LIABILITY

The company acts only as a facilitator for travel arrangements and is not responsible for:

Flight or train delays.

Loss of luggage or personal belongings.

Injury, illness, or death during the trip.

Customers must follow the local laws, cultural norms, and security restrictions while traveling in Jammu & Kashmir.


8. ACCOMMODATION & TRANSPORTATION

The company arranges accommodations as per the package booked.

If the selected hotel is unavailable, a similar category hotel will be provided.

Transport services (cars, houseboats, shikaras, etc.) are subject to road and weather conditions.


9. CODE OF CONDUCT

Customers must respect the local culture, environment, and laws.

Any illegal activities, misconduct, or misbehavior towards staff, locals, or co-travelers may lead to termination of services without a refund.


10. FORCE MAJEURE

Holiday Ideas shall not be liable for any delay, modification, or cancellation due to natural calamities, political disturbances, strikes, terrorism, or pandemics.


11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Any disputes shall be resolved amicably between the parties.

If unresolved, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Srinagar, J&K, India.
