Cancellation Policy – Holiday Ideas (Srinagar, J&K, India)

At Holiday Ideas, we understand that plans can change unexpectedly. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while ensuring smooth operations for our team and service providers.

1. Cancellation by the Customer

If you need to cancel your booking, the following charges will apply:

More than 30 days before departure: Full refund (minus a processing fee of ₹1,000 per person).

15 to 30 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost will be charged.

7 to 14 days before departure: 75% of the total tour cost will be charged.

Less than 7 days before departure or No Show: No refund.

Note: Flight, train, and hotel cancellations will be subject to their respective policies, which may include additional charges.

2. Cancellation by Holiday Ideas

In rare cases where we need to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (such as natural disasters, political unrest, or operational issues), you will be offered:

A full refund OR

An alternative tour of equal value.

We are not responsible for additional costs such as flight tickets, visa fees, or other personal expenses.

3. Cancellation Due to Force Majeure

If a tour is canceled due to natural calamities, government restrictions, or other uncontrollable events, we will offer rescheduling options or issue a travel credit for future use. Refunds may not be possible in such cases.

4. Refund Processing

Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 10-15 working days from the date of cancellation.

Payment gateway/bank charges (if any) are non-refundable.

5. Changes & Rescheduling

Changes to bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.

Date changes within 7 days of travel are treated as cancellations.
